The book by Ueda is superb as all of his works are (I own several). But I was shocked to find typographical errors throughout the book, published by Brill. I purchased a copy from Herb Tandree Philosophy Bks. They listed it as new from the publisher. The "o" in Basho is missing every time. Vowels in other Japanese names are also missing. This doesn't prevent me from reading the book but it is an irritation.
