Collected Poems (Pitt Poetry Series) - Classic Poetry Anthology for Literature Lovers, Book Clubs & Academic Study

This is a very lovely poetry volume worth exploring. It is very difficult to write nature poetry well. Ms. Evans does this effortly, and flawlessly. Her poetry stays with you, trickling through you mind long after you have finished reading it. The book is now out of print, but it shouldn't be. I was very grateful to have been able to locate it. She was quite a famous poet in the 50's, I found one of her poems in an anthology, "Sisters of the Earth", and just had to get her book. The poems sooth me, in a world of technology, and help me remember the healing I can receive by going outside during times of sorrow. Try to get this book, you'll be glad you did.
