I had this book in the 90s when I was a teen and couldn’t for the life of me find it again, as I couldn’t remember the title. But when I was browsing poetry books a couple weeks ago this popped up and I recognized the cover. I was so excited! This is an even better version of the one I owned. The paper is white, not the textured mass market paper used in the 80s and 90s. Of course I miss my old copy but I am so thrilled to own this book again. I couldn’t be happier.(And yes is is loaded with poetry from the 1400s forward. In the front of the book you can look poetry up by the author’s name, and in the back you can do the same with the first lines from the poems. I have always loved that it has a collection of Shakespeare’s sonnets in it, too!)
