This is a really great book, I had a copy when I was a child. It has a large range of poems from frightening , to classics to unconventional styled poems. It is a great introduction for kids even though others may not feel so. It helps expand the mind and to see different styles and possibilities which is important for kiddos to experience. I got this around first grade, enjoyed it thuroughly... it's why I bought this copy for nostalgias sake.
